Spiral pack packing is a die-formed ring concept in the fluid sealing industry. It offers all the benefits of a successful die-formed ring program without the expense of maintaining costly dies and die-forming equipment. End users can cut a broad range of ring sizes from the same coil of spiral pack. Simply wrap spiral pack around a mandrel the same size as the shaft and cut the desired number or rings. Each ring cut from the spiral pack has the same density as individually die-formed rings.
