Swab Cups are attached to a swab-cup mandrel on a swabbing tool and run on a wireline or swab line into the well through the tubing. Swab cups allow fluid in the tubing to flow part them. When the swab cups are raised, they seal against the tubing and force the overlying fluid up the tubing. These swab cups are designed to hold pressure in one direction only. Swab cups are used to remove fluids from wells, to test production rates or to cause a well to flow naturally.
Swag hooks are often used to support plants and light fixtures that hang by a chain. It's important to remember that the swag hook itself will probably support more weight than consider putting on it, but the hardware the hook is secured with and materials it is secured to will give out much sooner. The procedure includes hang the fixture/freshly watered plant on the swag hook. It keeping hands just underneath and it should the load prove greater than the capacity of the swag hook hardware or mount method. Once satisfied the load can be held, connect any chain/power cord through any additional swag.
