A thermal barrier plasma coating produces a ceramic insulating surface coating, which reduce the component surface temperatures by between 150° F to 325°F.
Thermal binding is used for binding documents. These are used as pre-made binding covers, which has a glue pre-applied in the spine. The cover is placed in the thermal binding where the spine is heated. When the spine is heated, the glue melts and sticks to the paper.
Thermal Bonding Tapes are developed for bonding of stiffeners for FPC connectors. It enables bonding in 130°C x 5 seconds. It can be preserved at room temperature. It also offers adhesive strength. It includes no halogen materials. It has high adhesion to conductors and PET. It is electrically conductive adhesive for outstanding electrical conductivity. It is in use of the confined space inside AV equipment and home electronics.
Thermal circuit breakers are actuating by a temperature rise inside a heat-responsive bimetal strip or disk. During a current overload, electrical resistance increases the temperature of the bimetal causing it to deflect and eventually trigger the trip mechanism. Thermal breakers are the least likely to nuisance trip. These are useful in applications having high surge currents or where high current inrushes accompany the start of electric motors, transformers, and solenoids. Thermal circuit-breaker reaction time is affected by ambient temperature.
