Reel Jacks are light and easy to use in the plant or in the field. Two jacks are required to support each reel. The high tensile steel spindles are grooved on each end to prevent shaft creep and provide a smooth payoff of wire or cable as it rolls on heavy-duty cam roller bearings. They employ the same features as standard ratchet jacks to provide safe, reliable performance with a minimum amount of handle effort.

Reel lagging is used for domestic shipments with flange diameters less than or equal to 68 inches. This lagging is placed directly over the thermal wrap and secured using plastic straps. This lagging completely covers the cable from inside flange to inside flange. It has high strength and exhibits very good puncture resistance. Three steel bands are strapped about the lagging boards to the reel.

Reel lifter consists of a pair of cooperating lifting members. Each member is characterized by a base constructed of angle iron and fitted with an upward-standing trunk. The trunk divides the base into a foot portion and a heel portion of dissimilar size. A handle is welded or attached to the upward-standing trunk. A support sleeve is secured to the trunk in transverse relationship with respect to the handle and the base.
