Aerial Signal Cables are multi-conductor 600 or 2000-volt signal cables designed for aerial installation. They consist of ethylene propylene rubber insulated conductors, a moisture-resistant binder tape and a tough neoprene outer jacket. They are used in railroad signal circuits where continuity of service and long life are required in all vital circuit & safety related applications. They are designed for aerial applications and all wet or dry locations.

Air circuit breakers are adjustable for instantaneous, short time and/or real time delay operation. These are divided into three basic types that include molded case circuit breakers, low-voltage power circuit breakers and medium voltage breakers. They are equipped with heavy-duty contacts, arc quenchers and an operating mechanism, which may be either manual or automatic. These use air as a medium to extinguish an arc. These are available in continuous current ratings from 15 amperes to 4000 amperes and voltage upto 600 volts. These breakers are suitable for lighting and power circuits as well as motor starting and running services.

Air cleaning systems are designed to reduce contaminant levels after contaminants become airborne. It can be designed to control PM (dust), gas-phase contaminants or both. A minimal level of air cleaning is used in most building to protect mechanical equipment from soiling. Separate air cleaning systems are commonly used with radiant heating systems. The general type of technologies used in air cleaners include mechanical filters, electronic air cleaners, and hybrid filters for the capture of particles, plus gas phase filters to control odors.

Air cooled generators are available with open ventilated and with a closed-air circuit or totally enclosed water to air-cooled circuits. Generators with open-air circuit cooling are low-cost and have no need for additional cooling. Generators with closed-air circuit cooling are built for capacities up to 480 MVA. These machines are well suited for use with single shaft combined-cycle plants where the gas turbine and the steam turbine drive the same generator.

Reactors like capacitors, are basic to and an integral part of both distribution and transmission power systems. Depending on their functions, reactors are either connected in shunt or in series with the network; singularly or in conjunction with other basic components such as power capacitors. Reactors can be either dry type or oil immersed. Dry type reactors may be of air core or iron core construction. Dry type air core reactors feature fully encapsulated windings with the turns insulation provided by film, fiber, or enamel dielectric. These reactors are employed over the full range of distribution and transmission voltages, including EHV and HVDC. Dry type air core reactors are mainly used for current limiting applications due to their inherent of inductance vs. current.
