Glass electrode is potentiometric sensor made from glass of a specific composition. It is a hydrogen-ion responsive electrode usually consisting of a bulb, or other suitable form, of special glass attached to a stem of high resistance glass complete with internal reference electrode and internal filling solution system. The glass electrode, which consists of a thin wall glass bulb, has an extremely high electrical resistance.

Glass filled epoxy bulkhead connector is made of molded glass filled epoxy. The contacts are gold plated (one to twelve contacts). It is light to medium duty applications. They are used in hazardous environments, power transmission and signal telemetry. Avoid use in areas subject to high impact, connectors subject to chipping and cracking if exposed to high abuse conditions. Avoid contact with solvents.
