Wet electrostatic precipitators are particularly effective in removing acid mists, dust, particulate, metals, and condensable present in process gas streams. It uses well-proven technology innovations that overcome the deficiencies of traditional tube type designs, and precipitators that make extensive use of lead or non-conductive plastics. There are no wires and no lead collecting surfaces. Wet electrostatic precipitators utilize parallel up-flow gas passages, rigid mast emitting electrodes; conductive fiberglass reinforced plastic or metallic collecting plates within a fiberglass reinforced plastic or metallic shell.
