UV oxidation is a destruction process that oxidizes organic and explosive constituents in wastewater by the addition of strong oxidizers and irradiation with UV light. Oxidation of target contaminants is caused by direct reaction with the oxidizers, UV photolysis, and through the synergistic action of UV light, in combination with ozone (O3) and/or hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). If complete mineralization is achieved, the final products of oxidation are carbon dioxide, water, and salts. The main advantage of UV oxidation is that it is a destruction process, as opposed to air stripping or carbon adsorption, for which contaminants are extracted and concentrated in a separate phase. UV oxidation processes can be configured in batch or continuous flow modes, depending on the throughput under consideration.

Vacuum degasifier is used to remove dissolved gases in water for many industrial processes. Vacuum degasifier are typically tall columns filled with packing or trays and are used to bring a liquid phase in contact with a gas phase for the purpose of removing dissolved gases from the liquid. The liquid runs from the top of the column down around the packing. The packing creates a large surface area for the gas phase to contact the liquid phase.

Vacuum feed chlorinators are suitable for dosing chlorine solution in gravity-sumps, reservoirs and open channels. It is also suitable for pressure main dosing where the chlorine solutions are injected into the pressure main. In vacuum feed chlorinators, the vacuum created by a flowing water stream through an ejector motivates the chlorine flow from the pressure cylinder. The chlorine regulator and flow meter are located between the ejector and chlorine cylinder. The vacuum developed by the ejector pulls the chlorine gas through the flow meter.

Vacuum-operated gas feed system consists of direct cylinder mounted vacuum regulators with an automatic vacuum switchover and an ejector. Addition of an automatic gas control valve is as simple as cutting the vacuum line, connecting the line from the vacuum regulator to the valve inlet and the line to the ejector to the valve outlet. All that remains is to connect power and the flow signal.

Wash water reclamation system consists of an in-ground sump pit in the wash bay. Wash water is collected then pumped through a cyclonic filtration system to remove waterborne solids. The cleaned water is stored in storage vessels then reintroduced in the automatic washer's wash cycle. The wash water recycling system have the capability of removing 95% of suspended solids having a specific gravity of 2.7 or greater and a size of 60 microns or greater from the wash water being returned from the vehicle wash process. The equipments include sump pump, tanks, pumps, centrifugal separators, controls and valves.
