Harmonic analysis is a process of trapping time domain events in frequency domain. In industrial power distribution systems, control compulsions have necessitated increased usage of electronics. This has resulted in distortion of currents & voltages. These distortions can cause a variety of operational difficulties to often loads connected to the system. This analysis helps splitting the distortions into a set of sinusoidal waveforms. The resulting spectrum enables identifying content & severity of harmonics in the system. Advanced data processing algorithms are used for interpreting results to identify the root cause of the difficulties faced by the user.

Mass balances are accounting of material entering and leaving a system. Fundamental to the balance is the conservation of mass principle. It is also called material balance. These are used to design chemical reactors, analyse alternative processes to produce chemicals, in pollution dispersion models. Heat balance calculations are needed to estimate the energy requirements and the cost of the process, as well as the operation preconditions.

High blast mixers are compact venturi mixers, which use compressed air as the primary source of oxygen and atmospheric air as the secondary source. The air/gas mixture produces a sharp, well-defined, clear blue flame. These mixers have combined with suitable burner nozzles. The high blast torches are compact heating burners that deliver higher capacities than normal heating torches. These are a complete assembly with modified FR burner tip, mixers and valves. It uses small amounts of high pressure air (100-700 kPa) to pick up incoming gas at a modified mixer. The gas pressure is elevated and the resulting mixture of air/gas is delivered to the orifice in the inspirator, where large quantities of air required for combustion are induced. It is used for mould drying, ladle heating, crucible heating, metal melting, and general heating applications.

High speed slip ring is an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of power and electrical signals from a stationary to a rotating structure. It is also called as a rotary electrical joint, collector or electric swivel. It is used in applications up to 10,000 rpm. Fiber brush contacts provide long-life and operation up to 10,000 rpm without the need for cooling equipment.

High turndown atmospheric torches are atmospheric gas burners designed for high turndown ranges on all types of combustion chambers or furnaces operating under a negative pressure. Combustion chamber draft induces all combustion air. No air blower or mixer is required. Atmospheric type venturi correctly proportions air and gas flows and delivers uniform mixture to burner nozzle.

Housed spring isolators consist of steel springs assembled into castiron housing with a top mounted adjusting bolt and an acoustical non-skid base. It includes a resilient inserts to prevent metal-to-metal contact and provide snubbing for side loads. It is used to isolate high and low frequency vibration. It allows adjustable damping of vertical motion, which is generated by floor-mounted mechanical equipment.

Hydramotor valves are designed for main line gas control. These valves typically operate from a single contact on-off type limit control to provide tight shut-off of dry natural, mixed, manufactured or LP gases. It consists primarily of two components: the actuator and the valve. Actuator is easily rotatable for best positioning of damper and electrical terminals. The valve is a globe type, 2-way normally closed, die-cast body and bonnet with a soft synthetic seat disc.

Hydrogen gas plants are used for the generation of hydrogen gas. It employs the well-known and widely accepted steam reforming technology for hydrogen generation. The commonly used refinery feedstocks are naphtha, natural gas and LPG. However, some alternative hydrocarbon feedstocks such as methanol are also considered at a large scale. It basically operates according to pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology.

Ignition electrodes are used for the ignition of gaseous fuel in gas combustion equipment, which works on the principle of ignition by high-voltage flashover. The central electrode must not be permanently positioned in the flame. These electrodes are usually positioned together in the combustion chamber of the gas combustion equipment. It can be used as ionisation probes and vice versa. The central electrode is made of a special fireproof material, which is resistant to high temperatures and electrochemical corrosion.

Ignition module is also known as the switching unit. It is used to regulate the current and dwell angle for transistor ignition systems using a hall sensor or inductive sensor. It provides for reliable spark distribution in ignition systems with rotary high voltage distribution. It used for switching power to the coil, usually in response to signals generated by a mechanical distributor. It can also be driven by an electronic ignition advance/retard unit or engine management electronic control unit.
