Press-In Wiper is designed to press into a groove for ease of installation and replacement. In press-in wipers, a metal outer shell or can is molded along with the rubber wiper element. These types of wipers are mostly preferred for mobile hydraulic systems and are easily replaceable.

PTFE back up rings are used in conjunction with O-ring for both static and dynamic sealing applications. These rings prevent extrusion of the O-ring when it is subjected to high pressures, or when the extrusion gaps are excessive. Wherever possible two back-up rings should be used, one on each side of the O-ring.

PTFE bearing strips are used to guide pistons and piston rods in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Seal life is considerably improved when bearing strips are installed adjacent to PTFE piston and rod seals by ensuring concentricity and damping vibrations. These plain rectangular bearing strips of bronze-loaded PTFE provide alternative to traditional materials such as phosphor-bronze or lead. It is self-lubricated that provides low dynamic and breakout friction.

PTFE bearings are widely used in applications requiring a dry running, maintenance-free solution. It has a unique combination of outstanding properties, including high and low temperature resistance, chemical inertness dielectric behavior, non-sticking & self-lubricating properties, and the lowest coefficient of friction of all solid materials.

PTFE envelope gaskets are available in slit, milled, formed shield, or double jacket styles. Slit envelope gaskets are essentially ring gaskets with 0.020″ thick leaves slit from the OD to approximately 3/64″ from the ID. These slit envelope gaskets are the most widely used gasket type in sizes for 1″ to 12″ OD. Milled envelope gaskets are made from PTFE cylinder stock, machined from their OD to within 3/64″ of the ID. These gaskets provide positive, trouble-free sealing in most applications ranging from mild to severely corrosive environments. Ideal applications for PTFE envelope gaskets include uses in equipment employing alloy, standard steel and glass-lined flanges; plastic, ceramic, and other types of flanges, and conical end glass pipe.

PTFE expansion joints are particularly suitable for aggressive media. PTFE is resistant to almost all chemicals and solvents. These are used in machinery, industrial equipment and piping systems. These are used in chemicals, process engineering, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
