Flange Packings are suited for preventing the passage of foreign material along shafts or piston rods. Flange packings are used exclusively in low-pressure & outside-packed installations such as rod. These packings are generally used only for rod seals when other packings such as V-rings or U-seals cannot be used.

Fluoropolymer is a polymer that contains atoms of fluorine. They are characterized by an unusually high resistance to solvents, acids and bases. Superior heat resistance up to 500°F/260°C coupled with excellent chemical resistance and lubricity have fluoropolymer as one of the best tubing material. Featuring a low coefficient of friction and anti-stick properties, each material has specific dominant characteristics, but all are suitable for high temperature applications and are chemically inert and non-leaching. The special characteristics of fluoropolymer tubing are exceptional heat resistance, chemically inert to all common solvents, mineral acids, bases and organics, unequalled corrosion resistant, self extinguishing, extremely low moisture retention (<0.01%), self lubricating, lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer, indefinite shelf life, excellent dielectric strength and good electrical properties. Fluoropolymer tubing can be of PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene, PFA perfluoroalkoxy, FEP fluorinated ethylene-propylene, ETFE Ethylene TetrafluoroEthylene, PVDF Polyvinylidene Fluoride and TFE trifluoroethanol.

Graphite anodes are extensively used in both underground and internal vessel cathodic protection systems. These anodes are manufactured in a three-step process from petroleum coke. The coke is calcined, molded to shape using pitch binder, and then fired at 2782°C to convert the amorphous carbon to the crystalline graphite. The graphite is porous and is sealed with linseed oil in order to increase the anode life. These anodes are inert in that no reactions occur directly due to the action of the cathodic protection currents.

Graphite molds are used principally in the casting of titanium. Usually, a thin refractory wash is sprayed on the inside surface to increase mold life and permit faster solidification. These molds have extremely high conductivity and are exceptionally well suited for parts, which require maximum soundness in heavy sections.

Cylinders used in mobile applications use guide rings to prevent metal-to-metal contact of the rod and the barrel.

High-pressure seals are generally balanced to reduce the contact pressure between the sealing ring and counterface.

Hollow ceramic microspheres are used in many different industries and the number of applications. These microspheres are dispersed uniformly throughout the polymer-based blend to provide a non-cementitious material, which upon curing becomes a concrete-like material. Hollow ceramic microspheres are covered by uniform copper layer.

A rubber hollow spring is designed to absorb and dampen shocks.
